SSC MTS 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognised board by the closing date of application. There is no minimum percentage requirement.
Age Limit
- MTS posts: 18 to 25 years
- Havaldar posts (CBIC & CBN): 18 to 27 years
- Age relaxation applies for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD and other reserved categories as per government norms.
Nationality
Indian citizens; subject to the usual SSC conditions for candidates from Nepal, Bhutan and Tibetan refugees settled before 1 January 1962.
SSC MTS 2026 Exam Pattern
The CBT is a single paper of 90 questions (270 marks) split into two mandatory sessions:

There is no interview for either post — final merit is based on CBT score.
