The High Court of Delhi has released the model answer keys for the Delhi Higher Judicial Service (HJS) Preliminary Examination 2026, held on 26 July 2026, for recruitment to 27 posts (24 existing plus 3 anticipated vacancies) in the Higher Judicial Service. As per the official notice dated 28 July 2026, model answer keys for all four question-paper series - A, B, C and D - have been prepared and uploaded on the High Court's website.
Candidates who wish to challenge any answer must submit their objections in online mode only, through the link provided on the official website, within three days of the notice - that is, by 31 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). Objections received after this deadline, or through any mode other than the prescribed online link, will not be entertained. Candidates cannot select the same option as given in the model answer key while raising an objection, and must provide justification or reasoning for each objection filed.
The Delhi HJS Examination 2026 is open to advocates aged between 35 and 45 years (as on 15 July 2026) with at least seven years of continuous practice, for direct recruitment to the Higher Judicial Service. The selection process comprises three stages - the Preliminary Examination (objective type, 150 marks), the Mains Written Examination, and the Viva-Voce - and the final answer key, to be issued after review of the objections received, will be used to determine qualification for the Mains stage.
