Deoghar (Jharkhand) Home Guard Recruitment 2026: 772 Posts

The Jharkhand Home Defence Corps, Deoghar unit, has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 inviting online applications for enrolment of 772 Home Guards (Grih Rakshak) — 634 posts in the Rural category and 138 posts in the Urban category — within Deoghar district. This is a district-specific enrolment restricted to Deoghar and open to permanent residents of the district aged between 19 and 40 years as on 1 January 2026. The minimum educational qualification is 7th pass for the Rural category and Matric (10th pass) for the Urban category. Online applications will be accepted from 11 October to 26 October 2026 on the official website, deoghar.nic.in. Fifty per cent of the total posts are reserved for women, and within that women's quota, 5% is further reserved for divorced, separated, or widowed women.
