ICF Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 1,010 Posts, Apply Online by 7 September

Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai has released the ICF Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification (No. APP/01/2026-2027, dated 8 August 2026), inviting online applications for 1,010 apprentice training seats — 330 for Freshers and 680 for Ex-ITI candidates — across trades including Carpenter, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Welder, MLT (Radiology & Pathology) and PASAA. Ex-ITI candidates must be aged 15 to 24 years, while Non-ITI (fresher) candidates must be 15 to 22 years old, as on 7 September 2026, with standard age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. There is no written examination for this recruitment — selection is based purely on a merit list prepared from candidates' Class 10 marks. The application fee is fully exempted for SC, ST, PwBD and female candidates, while General/OBC/EWS candidates must pay ₹100. Online applications can be submitted from 8 August (9:30 AM) to 7 September 2026 (5:30 PM) through the official ICF web portal. Candidates should note that this notification is purely for apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act and does not guarantee regular employment with Indian Railways after completion.
