ISRO Scientist/Engineer 'SC' Recruitment 2026: 92 Vacancies, Apply by Aug 17

The Indian Space Research Organisation, through its Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), issued notification No. ISRO:ICRB:02(EMC-CEPO):2026 on 28 July 2026 for the recruitment of Scientist/Engineer 'SC' across Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Civil, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, and Architecture disciplines, with a total of 92 vacancies. Applicants need a BE/B.Tech or equivalent engineering degree (a Bachelor's degree in Architecture for the architecture post) with a minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84, and must not exceed 28 years of age as on the last date of application. A valid GATE score in the relevant discipline is mandatory, as shortlisting for the interview stage is done on the basis of GATE scores rather than a separate written exam. Eligible candidates can apply online at the official ISRO website between 28 July and 17 August 2026. The application fee is Rs 250 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC/ST, PwBD and women candidates are exempted from the fee. Selection will proceed through GATE-score-based shortlisting followed by a personal interview, with final selection based on combined performance in both stages.
