KEA Kalyana Karnataka Group C Recruitment 2026: 210 Posts, Apply by 30 Sept

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has invited online applications for 210 Group C posts under the Kalyana Karnataka quota, to be filled in Urban Local Bodies functioning under the Directorate of Municipal Administration. The vacancies span four posts — Water Supply Operator, Assistant Water Supply Operator, Electrician Grade-1, and Electrician Grade-2. Candidates who hold an SSLC (or equivalent) qualification along with the relevant ITI trade certificate and apprenticeship training in the concerned trade are eligible to apply. The online application window is open from 16 September to 30 September 2026, with the final date for fee payment set at 1 October 2026. The application fee is ₹750 for General and other unreserved categories, ₹500 for SC/ST/Category-1/Ex-servicemen/Third Gender candidates, and ₹250 for candidates under the special-incentive category. Selection will be through a written competitive examination consisting of two papers — Paper 1 on General Knowledge and Paper 2 on the specific trade/subject — each carrying 100 marks over a 2-hour duration.
