MDL Trade Apprentice 2026: CBT Exam Held 25 July, DV & Trade Allotment Next

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), Mumbai had released its Apprenticeship Programme 2026 notification on 10 June 2026 for 495 Trade Apprentice vacancies, with online applications accepted from 11 June to 1 July 2026 through the official website, mazagondock.in. The written examination (Computer Based Test) for the programme was conducted on 25 July 2026. The CBT consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions worth 100 marks, to be attempted in 120 minutes, with questions drawn from the syllabus of the minimum educational qualification prescribed for each trade group. Selection under this apprenticeship follows a three-stage process: after the CBT, candidates with the highest marks are called for document verification, where Group A and Group C candidates are allotted trades in order of merit on the same day. This is followed by a medical examination, and only candidates declared medically fit are enrolled for training.
