NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Counselling: Registration Open Till 8 September, Check MCC Schedule

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun Round 2 of NEET UG 2026 counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS and other medical courses under the All India Quota and participating institutions. Candidates who did not register or wish to change their preferences from Round 1 can register afresh and fill their choices during this window. Registration and choice filling for Round 2 run concurrently, giving candidates time to research and rank their preferred colleges and courses before locking their choices. Candidates already allotted a seat in Round 1 who wish to upgrade should read the MCC rules carefully, as upgrade and freeze options come with specific conditions that affect their existing allotment. After choice locking closes, MCC will process the seat allotment based on NEET UG rank, category and the choices submitted, with the Round 2 result expected shortly after. Candidates allotted a seat must report to their allotted institute within the specified reporting window, carrying original documents, to confirm admission. Aspirants are advised to keep their NEET UG scorecard, category and domicile certificates, and other required documents ready in advance, and to submit choices carefully since incomplete or unconfirmed choices can affect allotment outcomes.
