PGIMER Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026: 243 Vacancies, Apply Online by 3 October

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has issued notification PGI/RC/055/2026/2276 dated 9 September 2026, inviting online applications for 243 posts of Nursing Officer (Group B). Candidates can apply on the official website from 10 September 2026 to 3 October 2026. Applicants need a B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing, or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree along with valid nursing council registration; candidates with a GNM diploma, registration, and at least one year of experience in a hospital with 50 or more beds are also eligible. The age limit is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years as on 3 October 2026, with relaxation as per government norms for reserved categories. Selection will be made through a Computer-Based Test comprising 100 objective-type questions worth 100 marks. Selected candidates will be placed at Level 7 of the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix (Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 per month).
