SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Date 2026 Out: Regular & Backlog Schedule

State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the Preliminary Examination dates for its Junior Associate (Clerk) Recruitment 2026, covering both the regular recruitment drive and the special backlog drive for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The Preliminary Examination for the SC/ST/OBC backlog vacancies is scheduled for 16 September 2026, while the Prelims for the regular recruitment drive will be held on 26 September and 3 October 2026. Both examinations will be conducted in online, computer-based mode across centres nationwide. This recruitment drive is for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) posts in clerical cadre across SBI branches. The selection process consists of a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination and, for certain circles, a local language test. Candidates can download their call letters closer to the exam date from the SBI Careers portal by entering their registration number and password/date of birth. SBI has advised aspirants to rely only on its official careers website for the confirmed shift-wise timing and exam-city details, as these are released along with the admit card.
