SBI Law Officer Exam Date 2026: AM/DM Law Written Test on 23 August

State Bank of India (SBI) had earlier invited applications for 49 Specialist Cadre Officer vacancies in the Law stream — 20 posts of Assistant Manager (Law) on JMGS-I grade and 29 posts of Deputy Manager (Law) on MMGS-II grade (including 2 ST backlog vacancies) — under a notification released on 24 June 2026, with registration open till 14 July 2026. SBI has now confirmed that the online written examination for both Assistant Manager (Law) and Deputy Manager (Law) posts will be held on 23 August 2026. Candidates who applied within the registration window can download their admit card/call letter closer to the exam date from the SBI careers portal, under the "Recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officer" section, by logging in with their registration number and password/date of birth. Eligible candidates hold an LLB (or 5-year integrated law degree) from a recognized university, along with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing advocate or bank law officer for Assistant Manager, and 4 years for Deputy Manager. The age limit is 25 to 32 years for Assistant Manager and up to 35 years for Deputy Manager. Candidates are advised to carry a printed admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam centre, as entry without these documents is typically not permitted.
