UGC NET June 2026 Result & Re-Exam Answer Key Out: Direct Link

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET June 2026 cycle result along with the answer key for the re-examination that was conducted for a few subjects. Answer keys for 84 out of 87 subjects have been released, while the keys for English, Commerce, and Sociology are pending and will follow the completion of the re-exam process for those subjects. The re-examination was held for English on 9 September 2026 in the morning shift, Commerce on 9 September 2026 in the afternoon shift, and Sociology on 10 September 2026 in the morning shift, after which NTA proceeded to compile results for the remaining subjects. Candidates who qualify under Category 1 become eligible for Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor, and enrolment as a PhD scholar, while those in Category 2 are eligible for Assistant Professorship and PhD enrolment, without the fellowship component. To check the result and download the answer key, candidates need to log in on the official portal using their application number along with their date of birth or password and a security PIN, following which they can view and download their answer key, question paper, and response sheet.
