IB Security Assistant Final Result 2026 Declared: 4,987 Posts, Direct Link

The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, declared the final result for the Security Assistant/Executive recruitment on 14 August 2026. The result covers candidates who cleared Tier-1, Tier-2 (descriptive test), and the Tier-3 Interview/Personality Test stages for a total of 4,987 vacancies across various Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux (SIBs) in India. The final merit list has been published as a downloadable PDF on the official Ministry of Home Affairs website. Candidates do not need any login credentials to check their result — the roll numbers of selected candidates are listed directly in the PDF. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the final result will proceed to the joining formalities, which include character and antecedent verification, a medical examination, and submission of any pending documents before final appointment to the Security Assistant/Executive post. This is one of the largest central intelligence recruitment drives concluded in recent years, and the final result has been keenly awaited by lakhs of candidates who appeared for the multi-stage selection process.
