IBPS PO Prelims Result 2026 Declared: Direct Link, Mains Exam Date

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has declared the Preliminary Examination result for the Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers and Management Trainees, CRP PO/MT-XVI, on its official website. The Preliminary Examination was held on 22 and 23 August 2026 across multiple shifts nationwide. Candidates who cleared the sectional and overall cut-offs set separately for each category have qualified for the Mains Examination, which IBPS has scheduled for 4 October 2026. This recruitment cycle covers Probationary Officer and Management Trainee vacancies across eleven participating public sector banks, including Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India and others. Candidates can check their qualifying status on the IBPS website by logging in with their registration number/roll number and password/date of birth, followed by the security captcha. Those who qualify should begin preparing for the Mains stage, which will test English Language, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, and General/Economy/Banking Awareness.
