Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2026: 275 Posts, Last Date 3 Aug

The Indian Navy has released its notification for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer entry for the June 2027 course (AT-27), inviting online applications for 275 tentative vacancies spread across 12 branches and cadres, including Executive, Pilot, Naval Air Operations Officer, Air Traffic Control, Logistics, Naval Armament Inspection Cadre, Education, Engineering, Electrical, Naval Constructor, and Submarine (Technical) branches. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply depending on the branch; for example, GS(X), Pilot, Observer and ATC entries require a BE/B.Tech degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks, while other branches have branch-specific educational and physical eligibility criteria listed in the detailed advertisement. Candidates must apply online through the official Indian Navy recruitment website. The online application window, originally opened on 25 June 2026, has been extended and will now close on 3 August 2026. Selection will be through shortlisting of applications on the basis of qualifying marks, followed by an SSB interview and a medical examination. Candidates selected will begin training at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala, from June 2027.
