MP Police Constable GD Recruitment 2026: 7,500 Vacancies, Apply from 22 Sept

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB / Vyapam) has released the recruitment notification for 7,500 Constable (General Duty) posts in Madhya Pradesh Police, one of the largest state police recruitment drives this year. The vacancies are split into 6,800 posts in the general force (excluding Special Armed Force) and 700 posts in the Special Armed Force (SAF). Women candidates are eligible for 35% horizontal reservation within the 6,800-post general cadre. Online applications will open on 22 September 2026 and close on 6 October 2026, to be submitted through the MP Online portal. Eligible candidates must have passed Class 10 (for UR/SC/OBC) or Class 8 (for ST candidates), and must be aged between 18 and 33 years as on 6 October 2026, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per state rules. MPESB will conduct the written examination on 19-20 November 2026 — a 2-hour, 100-question objective test covering General Knowledge & Reasoning, Intellectual Ability, and Science & Arithmetic. Candidates who clear the written exam will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification.
