SSC JE 2025 Final Vacancy Out: 1,731 Posts in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical

The Staff Selection Commission has released the final vacancy list for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination 2025 on 24 June 2026, raising the total to 1,731 posts — up from the 1,340 vacancies announced at the time of the original notification. The revision reflects updated vacancy requisitions received from participating departments after the exam cycle began. The Border Roads Organisation accounts for the largest share of posts, followed by the Military Engineer Services, CPWD, and the Central Water Commission, with smaller allocations for the Naval Directorate of Quality Assurance, Farakka Barrage Project, and CWPRS. Civil Engineering carries the bulk of the vacancies, with Mechanical and Electrical splitting the remainder.
