SSC MTS Havaldar PET/PST 2026: 8,071 Shortlisted, Physical Test 24-31 Aug

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the Computer Based Examination result of the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025 on 3 August 2026, shortlisting 8,071 candidates for the Havaldar Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The PET/PST for Havaldar posts under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) will be conducted from 24 to 31 August 2026 at designated centres. Only candidates in the Havaldar stream undergo these physical tests; MTS-stream applicants are not affected. PET and PST are qualifying stages only -- no marks are added to the final merit list -- but a candidate must clear both to stay in contention for a Havaldar post. Candidates who fail PET/PST but were also shortlisted for MTS retain their MTS candidature. Candidates should carry the required admit card, photo ID, and any documents specified in their individual call letter to the test venue, and should check the official SSC website for the exact date, time, and venue allotted to them.
