UPSC NDA & NA (II) 2026 Exam Date: 13 September, 394 Vacancies

The Union Public Service Commission has released the exam schedule for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2026. As per the notification dated 20 May 2026, the written examination will be held on 13 September 2026 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA, and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Indian Naval Academy. A total of 394 vacancies have been notified, comprising 370 seats for male candidates and 24 seats for female candidates across the three services. Online applications, which opened on 20 May 2026, closed on 11 June 2026 after a short extension. On exam day, the written test will be conducted in two shifts: Mathematics from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and the General Ability Test from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must be unmarried, aged between 16.5 and 19.5 years, and have passed Class 12.
